By 1995, the company expanded its business to the GCC. The company commenced during the early 1960s by the businessman Mr. Zahem Al-Zahim. He made a deal with the British Lyons – Maid International Co. and Lyons – Maid Cake Co. to build the factories and equip them with precision machineries for an integrated production line with manpower that exceeded 500 to this day, who are specialized in various fields. Cake products were imported from Britian until the factory was completed in 1964.  At the early years of the present millennium, UHT was added to the juices sector, in order for the taste and quality of juices become consistent for a longer period of time.  All production lines of Petra Food Company are operated by precise automatic systems in order to ensure quality. Moreover, the company’s lab tests samples of the products before, during, and after the production process strictly to avoid mistakes. All of these matters reflect the volume of investment conducted by Petra Food Company since its establishment until today in order to maintain the required quality and efficiency for competition within the local and international markets.    with a 2,000sqm factory in the early 1960s, Petra Food Company currently owns four factories operating an advanced technological system with total space of 7,000sqm in Sabhan Area
